Candidates set for three Delano area races, including City Council and school boards

Delano area candidates for three election races have been set.
Five residents, including three incumbents are running for Delano City Council.
The incumbents are Ricardo Chavez, Rueben Pascual and Grace Vallejo.
Two challengers are Joe Aguirre and Rita Jimenez.
In the Delano Joint Union High School District board race, three people are running for two seats, including incumbent Arnold Morrison. Current incumbent Anna Perigo, chose not to run for her open seat.
The two challengers are Jesus Cardenas and Joan Collins.
And finally, five people are running for Delano Union Elementary School Board District. Two seats are open. Incumbent Frank Herrera is taking on challengers Roberto Cardenas, Irene Martinez, Kevin Williams and Susan Villaruz.
