Kern County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Delano man in December 2021 shooting in Wasco, along with an attempted murder robbery earlier this year also in that community.
Sheriff’s investigators working with Shafter Police , were able to identify Bryan Morales, 20, of Delano, as a suspect involved in a shooting that occurred on Dec. 27 near Broadway and 15th Street in the City of Wasco.
In addition to those offenses, Morales was also identified as a suspect involved in the attempted murder and attempted robbery that occurred in the 900 Block of 8th Street in the City of Wasco on Feb. 9, 2022.
During the investigation, Morales was also found to be in possession of the weapon believed to have been used in the commission of both crimes.
Morales was subsequently arrested in the 100 block of 12th avenue in Delano and booked into the Central Receiving Facility for assault with a deadly weapon – a firearm, participation is a criminal street gang, possession of a firearm by a gang member, conspiracy to commit a felony by a gang member, and conspiracy in relation to the Dec. 27 incident.
Morales was also booked into the Central Receiving Facility for attempted murder, attempted robbery, participation is a criminal street gang, possession of a firearm by a gang member, conspiracy to commit a felony by a gang member, and conspiracy in relation to the Feb. 9 attack.
