McFarland High School’s VEX Robotics team goes UNDEFEATED and took first place in matches — finished second at VEX State Championship at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo on Saturday.
McFarland went undefeated and took first place in matches, said McFarland Unified School District Superintendent Aaron Resendez. “They made it to finals and finished second.”
It was enough for the team t0 earn a spot in the World Championships in Dallas Texas.
The team was undefeated, 6-0, and in first place by overall points, Resendez said. Finals were held at 5:30 pm Saturday.
“Yes, our teams have competed and beat the best teams in the state,” he said. “Go Cougars!”
