The buzz of excitement filled the air as Cecil Avenue Math and Science Academy’s students participated in the yearly Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math event.
The STEAM Fair was a huge success. With over four hundred students participating in a variety of projects. Including categories such as reverse engineering, recycled materials, tessellation and natural science collection.
The fair was not only a testament to the student’s hard work and creativity but also a celebration of the CAMSA’s dedication to nurturing their intellectual curiosity. Students were encouraged to explore STEAM concepts to enhance their interest in science based opportunities and connections to vocational careers.
By nurturing creativity and problem solving abilities STEAM education equips our students with the skills to address the challenges that lie ahead. As the fair concluded, it was evident that the young minds of CAMSA were taking giant strides in their STEAM education. They not only learned about these subjects but had internalized the essence of innovation, curiosity and the drive to make the world a better place. The next step for the students of CAMSA is the district science fair.
