Tristan J. Hooks “Bubba”

Aug. 06, 2004 – Jan. 06, 2017

Our beloved Tristan J Hooks “Bubba” received his wings Jan. 6, 2017, after courageously battling Burkitts Lymphoma the last 10 months.

Tristan was born Aug. 6, 2004 to John and Becki Hooks of Visalia. He attended Mt. View Elementary school since Kindergarten and enjoyed playing pop warner football with Mt. Whitney Pioneers, basketball with the city and NJB and watching his favorite teams, the Seattle Seahawks and Golden State Warriors.

He was known for his quiet and shy personality with a big heart that loved to play jokes and pranks on his family, friends and even some of his nurses. He loved swimming, bonfires, game nights with his family, playing video games, watching his favorite movies and You Tube vloggers.

Tristan is survived by his parents, 2 sisters- Breanne Hooks and Samantha Coulson, 1 brother Jaxsan Hooks, 2 nieces – Draya and Jazzlyn Burciaga, his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family would like to thank the Oncology team and staff at Valley Children’s Hospital, his pediatrician, Dr. David Sine, his Radiologist at Lucille Packard, Dr. Susan Hiniker, and Kaweah Delta’s Pallative care nurses that all had a big part in taking such great care of Tristan and going above and beyond to make sure Tristan was always comfortable and making him feel it was more than just their job to take care of him.

A memorial service will be held at Salser and Dillard, 127 E Caldwell Ave.-Visalia, Sunday Jan. 15, 2017 at 9 am with a Celebration of Life Luncheon immediately following. Condolences can be made to www.salseranddillard.com
